Methods and Ways to Configure Windows 8 App Notifications:


With Windows 8 operating system all the app notifications displays on the upper right side of the screen. You can also make a control over it like how they behave, you can turn them on or off, make them display longer, disable sounds and many more.

You can open it by clicking a notification of an app that was installed and now it is ready to use.

Turn Windows 8 Notifications On or Off:
Firstlu you need to open PC Settings from the Charms bar choose Settings after that click on Change PC Settings, then click Notifications on the left. From here you are able to turn notifications on or off, display them on the Lock Screen or not and disable notification sounds.

Make Windows 8 Notifications Display Longer:
It is default settings in windows 8 operating system that notifications are displayed for five seconds only but you can increase the time of display of notification. to do this you need to go to PC Settings choose Ease of Access and select the time that how long you want them to display from the dropdown menu.

Hide App Notifications:
For hiding app notification, click or tap the Notifications icon when you click Settings from the Charms bar and select how long to hide notifications for.
