Windows 8 SmartScreen:
Windows 8 smart screen is a security feature in Windows 8 operating system. It warns you before running any unrecognized apps and files from the Internet.

Since it is a safety program, you need to click Run on it. So that you can work your way through the install wizard like normal.

Ways Turn Off Windows 8 SmartScreen:

You need to press the combination of WinKey + W from your keyboard to display the Settings search field and type smart. Then you Change Smart Screen Settings under the search results.
Now the Action Center screen displays on the desktop  . Here you have to click on Change Windows SmartScreen Settings.

Now select don’t do anything (Turn Off Windows SmartScreen) and click on OK.
After turning it off  a message will pop up on the screen in the Notification area of the Taskbar, now you have to click to close it.

You can also see a warning message under Security in Action Center. Now click the link to turn off messages about SmartScreen.
